Safae Guennoun is the founder of The Tax Point. Safae is recognized as one of the leading Transfer Pricing, taxation practitioners. With a hybrid curriculum in both taxation law and managerial economics, Safae’s approach to complex tax matters is holistic and marries both business practical aspects as well as tax technical ones.
Safae has an international tax experience of close to two decades in Tier 1 tax consulting firms in Belgium, Germany and the Middle East. She has successfully led various tax projects for Blue Chip and international quoted groups, encompassing tax governance and strategy, tax compliance as well as tax controversy and litigation.
Moreover, she has been involved in the successful negotiation of a large number of Advance Pricing Agreements on the topics of international tax and transfer pricing with tax authorities from all continents, including unilateral, bi-lateral and multilateral ones.
Since she moved to the Middle East (in 2017), Safae has led various fiscal policy projects with tax authorities across the Middle East, in the area of transfer pricing, and has built a unique expertise in such a niche segment.
Safae enforces an inclusive and open-minded culture, where human capital is at the center stage. She adopts a multicultural approach and is fluent in many languages which are an essential asset in a global (tax) world.
Finally, Safae is a frequent speaker at both national and international tax seminars. She is also a visiting lecturer at various universities on tax and business matters (NYU Abu Dhabi, MiddleSex University Dubai, etc).
